Isaac Haxton Wins A Huge Pot

With nearly a half million in the pot already and the board reading {9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} Haxton made a 250,000 bet and Robin Bergren called. He turned over {K-Spades}{K-Clubs} which was second best to Haxton's {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. That pot pushed Haxton up to 1,400,000. /images/graemlins/heart.gif

Isaac and I played a lot when I went to Brown. I never thought he was anything special, certainly not the best player in our game ::shrug::

I did give him a call after the WPT event where he played Daut heads-up and told him to win the WSOP for me since I couldn't make it out there this year. He affirmed he would.
