If Julian Gardner wins the ME, wouldn't John Turturro play him perfectly in a movie??...I remember the first time I saw Julian Gardner on TV, I thought for sure "the guy from Rounders" was going deep in a tournament.

Julian moneyed in the ME 3 years running, and is clearly poised TO WIN IT ALL! GOGO HARRY POTTER!

I know who he is, we/people were calling him Harry 5 years ago for obvious reasons.

Clearly an amazing player with several deep runs in the ME. Surprising you don't hear his name more often. You may start to in about another week.

Top player. You don't hear about him all that much because he simply doesn't play many live tournaments.

Dario and Julian can play heads up for the Harry Potter Championship of the world.

Look at the dealer in that picture. Didn't he make a WPT final table?

Gardner out. Resteal attempt with KTo for 20-25 BB's runs into AK. Not sure about the play, I think he plays too well to shove with this weak a holding with a decent stack, unless he had the initial raiser extremely light. Then again, this entire ME seems to be chock full of people willing to shove marginality when their M is still 12-20.

I was thinking the same thing. There seem to be an awful lot of shoves for 8-10 times the initial raise.

Still, with Julian and Willy Tann out, I don't really have an interest any more. Good effort from both of the above, hope they're not too disappointed.
