I saw one of these type posts in SSNL, and I think it will benefit micro too.

I went through PT and found a hand that I thought was semi-interesting to see what everyone puts the villain's on. Basic premise is give villains ranges and most likely holdings.

FWIW, I'm not involved in the action.

They both have typical 2+2 stats and theres a CO open and Button RR. Giving a range here, or at any point in this hand is going to largely depend on history and how much they play back at each other.

Yes, that's true. I know that the BTN is a 2+2er, but I'm not too certain about the CO. Either way, you can still make predictions on ranges.

I would hazard a guess that both have an overpair, but neither has AA

But I'm a noob /images/graemlins/wink.gif

CO: 66-TT, 8s9s,9Ts,8Ts,JTs... I'd guess....99 and that his passiveness is genuine weakness, but 77 or TT being slowplayed is possible, though unlikely.

B: 66+,AKs,9Ts,8Ts,JTs,8s9s... I'd guess....QQ. A genuinely huge hand is possible here too but those are hard to detect among all the rest of his aggression. He's just hitting the 'Bet Pot' button, so I don't think we can conclude much from his bet sizing.

A fun result would be B:AKs over CO:8s9s.

I'll have a quick go.
Ummmmm my first thought is my money is on the CO /images/graemlins/smile.gif
Someone as aggressive as he is doesn't chk/call, chk/call without a monster.
I'm putting him on a set or maybe AT. Two pair looks unlikely. I can't see him calling the AI with a bare flush draw.
9s8s would shove flop I think. He may have Tsxs but probably would have shoved that on the flop too.
If he had JJ+ he would have re-popped pre I think.
So a set or Tx of some sort.

BTN I think has an overpair here. His large bets look like someone trying to protect or maybe someone with a strong draw like AsKs trying to get some FE. I think JJ+, or a flush draw with 2 overs.
