Ultimate Bet - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter (http://www.legopoker.com/hh))

SB: $8.11
Hero (BB): $36.88
UTG: $15.07
CO: $28.43
BTN: $32.63

Reads: <font color="blue">If I know button is stealing a huge percentage of the time (and I can definitely be sure of this) is this play okay? It just seems against this villain that we have a bit of mixed history. Perhaps I can't make this kind of move profitably against him...</font>

Preflop: Hero is dealt 5/images/graemlins/club.gif 5/images/graemlins/heart.gif (5 Players)
2 folds, <font color="red">BTN raises to $0.85</font>, SB folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $2.65</font>, BTN calls $1.80

Flop: ($5.40) 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif A/images/graemlins/heart.gif 3/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $4.00</font>, BTN calls $4.00

Turn: ($13.40) 2/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 Players)
Hero checks, <font color="red">BTN bets $13.40</font>, Hero folds
Uncalled bet of $13.40 returned to BTN

Pot Size: $13.40 ($0.52 Rake)

What does everyone think about this one? I normally just flat call and set mine but I just know he is stealing most of the time and decide to try and re-steal with this type of hand.

If he has a high steal percentage I'll raise this type of hand here sometimes. I thikn this is fine. I might make my flop c-bet a bit smaller though.....3.75 or so.

I do not mind the play vs an aggro stealing player..I would rather do it with ATC other then a small pair that have so much in implied odds...But OTOH against an aggro villain that is much more likely to be raising light he will not a a strong hand much of the time a we MAY NOT BE ABLE TO CALL FOR SET VALUE ALONE..We will need to outplay the villain on flop by CR and leading SOMETIMES when we do not flop a set...

This is standard. You don't flop a set every time you make this play. Sorry?
