Does anyone know how many people have played in the Bellagio Cup main event so far on Days 1A and 1B? And how many are already signed up for 1C? I can't find the Day 1B turnout on CardPlayer. Trying to decide whether to play tomorrow or pack up and go home. Thanks.

the final total should be right around 400. the number was in low 300's including day 1a 1b and prebought 1c.

What time does it start? Cardplayer says 1pm, but their updates start at noon? and bellagio's website says noon

You know how Barry Greenstein gives his book to everyone who knocks him out of a tourny?

Well, in this interview, Steve Wong shows off the book (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3ZGckmH1-o) from the Bellagio tourney.

does anyone think that subconsciously barry expects to be knocked out? why else would he bring a copy of his book to every tourney??

To promote his book. Unless he wins the tournament, he gets free publicity for his book when he gets knocked out.

Only one person doesn't get knocked out.

Does Hellmuth give out a copy of his 'Play Poker Like the Pros' when he's knocked out? That would be +EV for the next time he matches up with that player.
