95% of the time I reraise JJ here preflop but decided to overcall this time and play it a little different.

The guy on the button is unknown to me which is perhaps an arguement towards raised pf. It was my actually first hand at the table.

I planned on check raising the flop and took the buttons flat call to mean it was unlikely that he has an overpair but probably has a draw or smaller PP overcards to the board.

I think maybe I should of raised the turn? I dunno.

Was playing this passively okay?

I 3bet this all day long against a minraise + coldcall.
Turn/riv look alright

yea you def have to raise it up preflop this would make your turn and river play much easier to gauge. I think with your mistake preflop you still played the hand alright through the turn and river.

I'd raise that to $2.25 preflop and bet the full size of the pot on the flop if called- you've got yourself into a tough spot there.

Most definately raise this pf.
As played, I would bet the turn as well or bet the river if I c/c the turn

As said reraise pre all the time.

Lead turn for $8-9.
Lead river.

As played I would CR turn and look to get it all in on river.
He could have a tonne here that you are ahead of and he bet $2.50 into $10.

Okie-doke, I'll reraise 100% of the time from now on. lol

JS Inc, you really think I should be looking to get it all in here? What hand here that I beat is gonna call and go all in on the river?
