Given my read below, this was obviously the perfect flop for my hand. On the other hand, the turn was one of the worst cards possible. Does anyone play the hand differently? Are we happy getting in for 230 BB on this turn?

I guess in retrospect, that turn check is pretty awful, as he will likely check behind with any J or heart. My thinking in the heat of the moment was that I was getting it in vs. a flush anyways, and that he was more likely to bet without a flush then call without a flush.

The other main point I was looking to get answered on this hand is are we happy to get it in for 230 BB on this turn? Obviously I gladly stack off 100 BB on this board, but with a broadway straight available as well as a flush, should we even be thinking about slowing down? If not, how deep would we have to be before we start playing this hand more cautiously?

You make this decision on the flop. Turn is an autopilot.

You have just over half the pot in your stack. The turn is a easy push

yes we are happy to get our money in after the turn given the read we had on villain.with deeper stacks that read would had been wrong IMO the villain could have a wider range of cards than just AA or KK.
after villain 3-bets you pre-flop what is the range of cards you put him on?

This was the one problem with this particular villian. While I'm quite confident he would have 5-bet shove with AA/KK, he could very well be 3-bettting and calling with 99+, AT+, KJ+. While his play was generally sound postflop, he made some strange preflop plays. In the end I guess my main concern was getting it in for 230 BB with far from a nut hand, but it seems that most people are ok with it here.
