Cryptologic - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 4 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter (http://www.legopoker.com/hh))

SB: $126.83
Hero (BB): $53.55
UTG: $29.00
BTN: $57.70

Reads: the tables only just broken up (people sitting out) so there hasnt been a lot of raising/3betting pf yet. villains 17/11/3 over 500hands... 22% att to steal.

hes raised pf and called my 3bet before w/ AK. he c/c my cbet on a K79r flop. checked turn, and fired 1/2 pot on river on a K798T, i shoved w/ JJ and he snap called. This was a few days ago, not this session.

Preflop: Hero is dealt A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif Q/images/graemlins/club.gif (4 Players)
UTG folds, BTN raises to $2.00, SB folds, Hero raises to $7.00, BTN calls $5.00

Flop: ($14.25) A/images/graemlins/spade.gif 2/images/graemlins/spade.gif J/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 Players)
Hero bets $10.00, BTN calls $10.00

Turn: ($34.25) 7/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $10.00, Hero folds
Uncalled bet of $10.00 returned to BTN

Pot Size: $34.25 ($1.70 Rake)

obv villain is kinda tight, but i think AQs is still ahead of his btn opening range so 3bet him. i was gonna fold to a flop shove since hes i doubt hes calling my 3b w/ AT or Ax, and any /images/graemlins/spade.gif has huge equity vs me.

anyways, how should i play the turn? i have just over a PSB left. i think i should either shove or c/f since if im ahead i dont want him to hit a free /images/graemlins/spade.gif..

any comments appreciated, thanks!

i like the 3bet PF.

i bet turn as well. i think you are very likely ahead of villains range in a heads up pot and there's a very good chance villain has either a worse A or draw or pair and draw, although i think the latter probably raises the flop, i think AJ does as well.

so i think i bet ~20 and call a push on turn.

now i understand your nickname /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I'd overbet the flop and fire again at the turn.

really? why? i figured my hand was pretty vulnerable without a /images/graemlins/spade.gif and wanted just to take it down.

whats your plan if he (1)bets? (2)checks behind and the turn bricks, checks behind and the turns a /images/graemlins/spade.gif? cheers!

Why even bet the flop if you are going to take this turn line

bet like $12 on flop, call turn and c/c river if non spade.

danny, do some pokerstoving with his calling range on the flop and your equity versus that hand range. Also do some stoving with his shove range on the flop and your equity versus that range. You have an extremely vulnerable and weak hand, and personally I would check this flop in the hopes it goes check/check.
