I had a pretty boring session tonight, but this hand bugged me a bit.

MP seemed decent. I don't have any stats on him, but he definitely seemed capable of playing a flush draw aggressively like this. The large raise on the flop, in particular, made me think flush draw immediately. But do you like the flop call, or should I raise? And what about the turn? I called because I could still see him holding a flush draw, and TT, JJ, or KK are also possible. Thoughts?

Standard I think.

I think when he shoves the turn, you're beat an awful lot here, because I don't know how often he's doing that as a bluff after your 2x pot call on the flop. (And also since JT got there, and people love playing JT.)

I don't think it would be terrible to just shove the flop.

I fold turn, your cold call after bet + large raise should be super scary for villain. I think this is a set a large amount of the time.

Villain has mad a substantial raise with you still to act here on the flop, knowing you are the pf raiser. It would look to me like a big hand here or a big draw. Your cold call should be setting off alarms and he still chooses to push. Unless you have seen villain being a maniac or that he likes to make plays I think you've got to let this one go.

Yeah I think you guys are right, he is showing a lot of strength.
Although this time he showed Q/images/graemlins/spade.gifJ/images/graemlins/spade.gif, and hit the river straight of course. /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

either shove or fold the flop, I easily shove here, sb hasnt shown strength and on this board MP has a draw a lot.

Dump it after MP puts half his stack in on the flop with 3 of you in there.

i wouldn't be so quick to automatically assume 2pr/set with this low flop - you'll see overpairs that you crush play it the same way.

Most raise TT-KK pre-flop. So that leaves us with 2prs/sets/draws.

It's a very drawy board, but at best I think this is close to neutral EV if he is crazy aggro and -EV if he is passive or only slightly aggro or even if he is very aggro and not insane.

I'd raise that a little more preflop in the hope of preventing this type of pot- $2 probably. I wouldn't put him on a set, but something like what he has- with the SB still to act after that stupid $2 bet I think it's shove or fold, and I don't think there's much in it either way.
