Johnny Chan Invitational when is this?

Have played in a couple of tournaments this year from CEO to WSOP but just read about this tournament? When is it? Never really heard of it. Of course I've heard of Chan just not sure why anyone would want to buy in to play again the guy. It is like playing against Helmuth. Why bother?

While the 'Johnny Chan Poker Classic' does bare his name, it does not mean that it is a heads up challenge or such. Just a standard circuit tournament.
