50 NL on stars, full ring.
Effective stacks are 50. I am in the SB with JdJc, 6 limpers, and i re-raise to 4.00. Folds all the way around to the button who just calls. Flop comes down Qh4h5s, i bet 6.50, and the button thinks for a short while and shoves all in for like 44 more. He wasn't sitting at the table long so I don't have a great read, but I did play with him later and he was a complete nit, min-betting on all streets with the nuts etc. Do we like how this hand was played? Is anyone calling him when he shoves? Thanks.

no way in hell you shoudl call a shove from an unknown with an overcard on the board when you have jj but i'm a losing player so who knows

I fold in this spot. I wouldn't be surprised to be shown a monster hand by this type of player more often than not.

No need to call. You've shown strength with the pf raise and the feeler bet on the flop. The board is slightly wet so his push could easily be protection against you drawing out.

A large overbet like that often means he has a set and thinks you'll stack off with AA/KK. For that reason I'd even consider folding an overpair here.

easy fold, you have a weak pair alot of hands beat you

Sure, sometimes you might be ahead here, but usually you're not, especially against a nit. So fold.

This is an easy fold, but he could have something like flush draw or pair with a flush draw or straight + flush draw.

[/ QUOTE ] I think a combo draw is most likely but we are at best even with those and there are many hands that crush us. We are only ahead of a bluff and nothing you did induced a bluff...fold
