Hello! This is my first post on 2+2, i've been reading it for a few days now and its a great forum. Anyway i'm posting my first hand, ill try to give as much info as i can if im missing out on anything just tell me thx.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool (http://poker-tools.flopturnriver.com/Hand-Converter.php) from FlopTurnRiver.com (http://www.flopturnriver.com) (Format: 2+2 Forums)

BB ($9.30)
UTG ($9.85)
UTG+1 ($9.55)
MP1 ($3.45)
MP2 ($5.60)
Hero ($11.05)
CO ($5.70)
Button ($0.40)
SB ($18.45)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with Q/images/graemlins/club.gif, A/images/graemlins/club.gif.
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG+1 calls $0.10, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $0.3</font>, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, UTG+1 calls $0.20.

Flop: ($0.75) A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif, K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">UTG+1 bets $0.5</font>, Hero calls $0.50.

Turn: ($1.75) 4/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">UTG+1 bets $0.7</font>, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $2.45

UTG+1 was 42/3.5/3 - What should i have done? Im guessing his .70 bet wasn't big enough for me to fold right away if the pot was $2.45, but he probably had AK or a flush and i knew he would prob bet big and i would be forced to fold the river. What do you think?

I'd probably raise that flop to $2.5, and the turn is an easy call, could be a block bet from a scared weak ace.

The hand is easier to play if you raise the flop.

Can you explain this further? so you mean if i just raise preflop/flop more, then i'll always have good equity,etc/make it easier for myself to call later on?

raise more PF, reraise flop. By reraising flop You're getting much more information about Your opponent. Look at his preflop raise statistic!. He only wants to limp preflop. I think he's on a flush draw on turn, he hasn't completed his draw yet. He has pair of kings or pair of aces with weak kicker.
