I know a lot of ppl say that the main event is very fishy, but wow, I had such a tight table. We had one guy who busted when he had AT and hit trip tens and the other guy had a full house. other than that....There was almost no action, almost every pot was won preflop by a standard 3xBB raise or on the flop. We saw a flop like 1/3 hands. We went to a show down not even 1/10 times. Such a nitty table for about 4 hours. Then I got moved and the other table was also very tight.

I have to say that I was shocked to find how tight everyone was. Especially considering how everyone was telling me the main event was supposedly super soft.

An example was when the board was J972 with 3 diamonds, one guy open folded a set of nines for a 2,000 bet when there wa 6,000 in the pot.

you understand that soft = easy to beat...
and you described perhaps the most easy to beat table I can imagine, twice.

This post has put me on complete tilt. I would've paid an additional $10,000 to have this table instead of the pos ones I had where everyone played back at me every [censored] hand

Could've been worse. I drew a really solid (not tight, per se) table in the $1000 rebuy last week. Rebought once, got felted in the first hour, decided to go play 5/10 where I might actually have an advantage. And I did; the 5/10 games were i.n.s.a.n.e.

I'm with you, perfect time to steal the blinds and so forth.

Plus, if they call your raise, you pretty much KNOW they have a hand.
