I'd appreciate any help here from people who recently registered or have some inside knowledge.

Basically, I didn't think I was going to be able to play due to time constraints, but I think I have the time now and need to get out there and registered.

I've seen reports that Saturday and Sunday are now booked solid, true? If not, any numbers? Anyone have any info on a current Monday number or a suggestion on when to get out there by? How fast does everything seem to be filling up?

I don't want to fly out there just to be an alternate.

Thanks for any help. It would really be a disaster for me if I flew out and couldn't even get in.

I think you'll be fine. According to what I heard, and this was in the Amazon room about an hour ago, Saturday and Sunday didn't sell out, they just temporarily capped them (at either 1250 or 1500 according to reports) to get more people to register for Monday to even it up.

Seeing as Harrah's are trying to run satellites right up till Monday morning, you can almost guarantee there will still be spaces available to be filled.

By the way the "Saturday and Sunday are sold out" report played merry hell with the markets on Betfair and a couple of shrewdies have basically locked up a big chunk of virtually free money by laying 9000+

I laid all the 1.30 but must have gone for a coffee break for the 1.27 /images/graemlins/frown.gif

That's funny!

Betfair is an extraodinary vehicle for separating mug punters from their money.

Correct. A friend and I went over tonight and registered - he registered for Saturday, and I registered for Sunday with no problems. Lines were actually very short (maybe 10 people).

All,

Someone told me there's a rumor Monday's sold out. That's not true is it?

I hope not, I need 3500 people to play tomorrow for my "over" bet to come in.

They were still running satellites online yesturday for Monday weren't they? The field has increased a bit each day, so I wouldn't expect anymore than 2k tomorrow.

Shaniac, will you be playing the Bellagio 10k?
