For anyone reading this who is at the Rio this week.
What are the Gaming Expo and hospitality suites like?
Is it still like it was last year with all of the inernet sites having big booths and hospitality suites right outside of the Amazon Room giving out free drinks and SWAG or is way cut back from the way it was last year?
Thanks guys and good luck to all playing in the ME.

Gaming expo doesn't have online sites. Has booths selling poker books, card protectors, and what not. Also, strip poker booth with girls saying "hey, baby" to you as you walk buy.

I have no clue about what the booths were for. All I know is they hired some amazing eye candy.

Harrah's published policy was to NOT rent any space to an on-line site that allowed US players.

So the general consensus is that both the Gaming Life Expo and the Hospitality Suites are way scaled back from what it was last year?

several local strippers clubs have girls dancing in bikini type outfits; and there must be 4 or 5 versiopns of automatic poker tables that don't need a dealer.

I think I saw a fridge magnent with Stevejpa's face on it. So if you want stuff like that, get to this expo.

I leased a booth for the expo, they charged us $2,500 (corner booth) + table rental, shipping + union guy payoff. Its not that expensive, but I'd venture to guess that it was a bad investment for at least 1/6th of the booths - if not more.
