View Full Version : Reason WSOP ME went to four day ones

I was listening to Rounders last night and the tournament director said the sole reason they added a 4th day one was for player comfort. They didn't want to use the tent due it being like 200 degrees in there. Perhaps more importantly they are playing the ME 9 handed instead of 10 this year. Is this news?

Wasn't the beginning of the last two ME's 11 handed? Also, has the huge $1500 tourneys started 11 handed or have the tables been at 10?

already 6,000+ registered when I went to the cage today. So 9000 cap might be beat anyway. How's that for a reason?

Well I went at 1am and the guy gave an exact number of how many were registered for each individual day, by looking on his computer screen. Looked like first hand information to me but then again it's the RIO so who knows...
