No one under 21 is allowed in the poker room. Security is present and checks ID.

Really? The 2 days I was there no one checked my ID. Is this a recent thing?

I have never been stopped for ID. I am old enough, but look young.

you're taking your chances, and they aren't good.

There is a big sign as you approach the amazon room that says no one under 21 is allowed in the area. But, I've seen little kids running around.

Always something to do in Vegas

Cons: Going to do something else (Depending on what gets you off....)

Hell I forget it's not New Orleans there, so my original response was to just go out drinking, but I totally mind lapse that it's not socially acceptable everywhere else for teenagers to be wasted off their asses in public.

They're not gonna check IDs. There's thousands of people there. Anybody who thinks that security is going to hand pick people who say look under 21 and ask for ID is nuts.

It's a casino. People assume that everybody knows the fact that you can't get in unless you're 21.

They absolutely do check ID's, but usually only if you try to play/drink. if you are just walking around, they probably won't bother you. I used to get carded all the time, now Im 32 years old, and I still occasionally get carded. I know I look young, but not that young... worst case is they ask you to leave the room. funny thing was, when they used to card me alot (blackjack, craps tables) they only carded me once I was winning. if I was losing, no one asked for ID, or so it seemed...

Cons: Watching the main event. Being in the Amazon room in general. Watching live poker in general.

Just walk in like you own the place

Don't act nervous and they won't bother you

stop being a pussy and get a fake id and play.

They're going to be more diligent during the ME. They don't want a random crowd shot with an underage kid in it on tv.

Neagreanu's burnt friend was able to rail him during one of the early Horse events, no one said a word.

there were kids all over last year and this year. Alot were between 10 - 15 years old. I guess similar rules to when they held the wsop final in the nineties out on freemont st. Anyone can watch. I see no problem here.
