ill do my best. I beat Isabelle Mercier headsup to get to the final table...this is from her blog:
"I am happy I am heads up but the guy has a 4-1 chip lead on me. He won literally every hand he played for the last two hours. I busted out everybody today. He is playing any two cards, I mean he is running over the table. I am not saying he is too good or lucky, he is just walking over people. And I have a big problem laying hands down but I have tried to stay calm; it's still limit Hold'em. I lost a huge hand where I flopped top pair with three way action, I knew the other two guys hand nothing but "this" guy called all the way with just Ace high on the flop and on the turn he picked up a gutshot straight draw, no flush, nothing and the river BOOM! makes the gutshot.
But it's OK, I feel good, it's not like I cannot win. He has more chips but he is not that good. He ran over the table but it's not like he is a super-sophisticated player. Every time I have raised him he was folded. I am starting to get him now, when I come back I am going to start to chat. Introduce myself, ask him where he is from, blah, blah, blah. This should take him off his game because he has a problem focusing, that is my strategy."
Lollerskates. And I thought she was being genuinely friendly when she asked where I was from /images/graemlins/frown.gif . Its true though, I did have trouble focusing because she is so damn hot and wears sexy outfits and speaks with a french accent. Afterall, I'm only an unsophisticated llama!

David Mosca:
[ QUOTE ]
With the board showing {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} on the turn, David Mosca bets 3,000, Isabelle Mercier raises to 6,000, Mosca reraises to 9,000, and Mercier calls. The river card is the {4-Spades}, Mosca bets 6,000, and Mercier calls. Mosca shows K-10 for two pair, tens and deuces with a king kicker, and Mercier mucks. After the hand, the chip counts look like this:
David Mosca - 266,000
Isabelle Mercier - 4,000
The next hand, Mercier would double up to 8,000 when her Q-4 outflopped Mosca's K-7 suited by catching a four. But two hands later, her {7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} couldn't overcome Mosca's {K-Clubs}{6-Clubs} on a board of {8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}.
Isabelle Mercier was eliminated in 24th place, earning $6,634.

Yes, in the final. I've got lots of poop and my arm is ready. Let us gogogo.
Edit : oh and by the way "Noah Boeken raised preflop and then bet the A-K-8 flop. When he got raised, he pounded the table in frustration and folded. I'm guessing pocket queens?"
I had T8s, and the report is wrong, it was AK6. Sorry Noah :-). That's the one move I've laid down in two days.

Yet another item to be fixed for next year is the payout structure for shootout events. Shouldn't winning two one-table tournaments give you at least a 5 figure payday?
1 $ 217,438
2 $ 124,816
3 $ 83,538
4 $ 58,968
5 $ 31,450
6 $ 19,656
7 $ 12,776
8 $ 9,582

I kind of respect Mercier for being a misleading ho to you, I mean, what girl thinks on such a level of winning at poker? So sexy.
