I don't have much read on the vilain.. I'd like to know if my aggressiveness was a good choice.

First on flop, I could be behind because of the straight, and on the turn, a 2 pair could have changed into a full house higher than mine.. What do you guys think?

I usually just push the flop.

You have a lot of outs versus a straight and are way ahead of a ton of hands that will show aggression on this flop. Push it now.

Make your first raise on the flop bigger. Between $1 and $1.25. And Yes your aggressiveness was a good choise IMO.

This certainly is not an ideal way to flop a set. KK and QQ are both big concerns once Villain 3-bets the flop, and of course JT can't be completely ruled out (although JT is not the first hand I think of when facing an UTG raise).

I think your first flop raise should be bigger, but then if Villain keeps coming after that, I'm certainly not ecstatic about it. I guess I'd be on my way to getting stacked for nearly 300 BBs.

I don't know what the best line is, really.

yeah unfortunately, 5xbb PF UTG puts me in the unagressive posture, you played fine, i just believe that the way he is playing, more often than not he will have KK or QQ and play the flop as he did than anything else, if he had played the flop any differently though, id prob be on the more aggro side of things..KQ just does not cut it for me UTG, id rather think hes not playing those in this situation

I think you played this fine. You could raise more on the flop I guess but the hands they will pay you off/beat you aren't going anywhere either way and you managed to get all your money in anyways. NH. Also, I never fold sets and definitely maximize my underset to overset value, I can easily see looking back on this one and thinking I could have probably let it go. You are ahead enough though that this is a good hand.
