6-max 25NL, not a PT-supported site

Hero hold K/images/graemlins/spade.gifQ/images/graemlins/diamond.gif

As far as I can, the button is a total wuss.

UTG raises to .50, Hero raises to 1.00, CO folds, Button raises to 1.50, SB folds, BB folds, UTG calls 1.00, Hero calls .50.

Dealing Flop (T /images/graemlins/club.gif, J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, A/images/graemlins/spade.gif)

UTG checks, Hero bets 2.25, Button raises to 4.50, UTG folds, Hero?

Button has around $19 left.

re-raise to like 12 or 13. you can't smooth call and let an action killer like a Q come off

Also, I had around $26 remaining on the turn.

Edit: I mean the flop.

LOL@the minibetting going on preflop. Why did you miniraise preflop?

Raise it to $12.00 and dodge the fullhouse.

Shove. If he's going to play and you raise it to something like $12-15 he's going all-in anyway.

Raise to like 10. Shove turn regardless.

While true, psychologically these people do make a distinction between 12 and the $15.40 or whatever that comprises their whole stack.

Yeah, I know about minraising. I already had 1.00 typed in, and I didn't see UTG open.

I donīt understand the question. You think button 4bet pf with 72o? He isnīt folding anything that connected with that flop. Just shove. Also, I would cr ai, let utg come along for a bit. If he had AQ or something he had an easy fold after that flop action.

I question re-raising flop -- if he's good, he'll find it easy to get away; if he's bad, we get less value out of Tx, Jx, Ax, straight draws -- but I may begrudgingly do it since I'm OOP.

I disagree with Lucky Jim, facing all the half hearted raising pre flop and then a bet and subsequent reraise on the flop, the guy has to fold a hand like JT, KJ, QJ. So to extract max value from this range, i like a moderate raise here, there is $11.25 in the pot, he has $19 back. Stick a raise in and allow him to shove with above weak holdings as well as any decent non-nut hands that he could also have. He's not gonna wanna smooth call anyway with AJ, he doesnt want a K or Q hitting so he will shove with strong hands, give him the chance to do it with the weaker part of his range here, stick in a raise to $10 total and wait for his shove.

It wasn't very much of a 4-bet. It was a min-4-bet.

With all the minraising going on I would min 3bet the flop to $9. Looks stupid enough to disguise you hand, and I doubt he's folding. Maybe he will minraise you back and it all goes in on the flop.
