Played about 1 orbit and my only read on villain is that I saw him donk a flop with 10 high no pair, no draw, then pick up a pair on the turn and make a small bet, then shoved all in when backdooring trips on the river.

Comments on all streets welcome...

nasty hand.

general thoughts: the small bet on turn / psb on river I have usually found to be strong when I've looked it up in the past.

the only problem is that he just backdoored trip tens and played them aggressively, so is he trying to represent that again?

while from his point of view your hand could be AQ or AJ, there isn't a reasonable 2pair (using both hole cards) hand you beat, and I don't see him doing this with AQ or AJ very often.

For some reason I am really worried about QJ, but AT or KT also concerns.

Essentially you only beat a bluff (even from a level 1 type thinker). while the chance of a bluff on this river is increased somewhat by the earlier hand I still think this is a fold.

I think a turn call is correct btw.

At NL10 I usually 3b this flop. If you're going to call the flop raise (based on your read), though, at least raise him on the turn - chances are a good part of his range will continue with the hand.

I agree, please 3 bet this flop, his raise is small and you beat a lot.

I think letting him valuebet worse hands is the best idea here.

Like I said, based on the read his flop call is fine. The turn should be a raise, though - a lot of hands will probably continue on this board.

The pot is $11 after the turn bet. You have $15 or $16 behind. Move in. You'll stack off to TT and QJ sometimes, but you will stack AT and AQ/AJ enough to warrent it. You'll chop occassionally with another AK as well. You have too much hand to get away from at NL10.
