Any read on shortstack? If he's anything but super tight I'm getting this in on the flop, hopefully.

Only been here for 10 hands, think it's 50/20 but again just 10 hands

Well then, applying Bozzer's instareads theorem, I'm raising this flop every time.

Yea i def raise the flop and the decision would come if he shoves. My standard play would prob be to call the shove then as I would need a read to be able to lay it down.

You honestly think if I raise flop and he shoves that I am ahead?

[/ QUOTE ]Yes, this is a big drawy flop and he would want to get it in before the turn.

interesting comments. so you guys think preflop minraiser doesn't have AA,KK often enough to make our hand second-best on the flop?

It's not the greatest turn card in the world (although it does give you a gutshot), but I don't think you should fold for a 1/2 pot bet. Villain is a fish over 10 hands, and he surely has at least a pair or draw at this point, alhtough not necessarily much more.

I might have raised the flop, but that would depend in part on how much credit I'd decided to give to his preflop min/3-bet. I haven't quite gotten a handle on what kind of range that tends to be when it comes from loose players yet.

Even though its a mini-raise, I dont think you should be calling 3-bets preflop without a plan. Against a short stack, if i've called the 3-bet pre-flop then i'm shoving any pair on the flop. I mean, seriously, what were you hoping for? A flopped royal flush?

You called preflop for exactly this flop. I'd shove on the flop, he's too short for it to matter.
