View Full Version : The "wagering requirements" on Pacific Poker are a jopke

Deposited $400 for the $100 bonus a month ago. Lost $50 of it immediately, yet managed to cash out my original $400 a few days later, despite CS telling me I'd only be able to take out $350 at that point.

Got a $50 referral bonus a few days later, for which I was supposed to wager $1000 to clear. Played through another $300 to finish my signup deal with PSO and cashed it out with no problem. Just got a second referal bonus, don't plan to play a single hand... in the process of cashing it out.

Ridiculousness.

Don't get upset that I'm posting about it here. If there's one site that DOESN'T check the 2+2 bonus forum, it's those slouches over at Pacific.

Low limit games are even better than Party's. 3/6 short handed plays worse than Party .50/1 6-max.

Oh yeah. Despite me not doing very well there, the players are the worst on the Net, hands down.

I heard the low limit rake structure is brutal though.

Is it still one table only over there?

Yep.

I honestly didn't even pay attention to the rake. I was too busy being in complete awe of people putting in 3-4 bets preflop with 79o. I cleared the bonus playing 1/2, 2/4, and 3/6 and the requirements didn't even bother me. I guess the only bonuses that piss me off are the ones that are on sites with tighter games. Party or Pacific could come up with 900x bonuses and I'd still go after them.

KSOT,

You can deposit $400, get $100 bonus, and cash out your original $400 IMMEDIATELY.

If the players are that bad then why dont you hear about alot of 2plus2ers playin there?

3/6 players are as bad as party 1/2?

Can anyone else confirm this?

Yep, I know. My point was I didn't know that at first and lost $50, which was supposed to mean I would only be able to withdraw $350. That wasn't the case at all.

The site is casino first, poker room second which is why the bonus has a 20x wagering requirement (like BJ bonuses).

Thats why the play is so soft.

At Party, weak players only play on one table at a time (in general, there are maniacs playing at 8 tables and losing 15 buyins in an hour, but your standard slightly losing player plays one table at a time). However the stronger players play more tables.

So lets say you have 25% of the players at a limit who are winning players and you would rather not play with them. These players all play multiple tables. This makes for the 25 % winning player making up maybe 40% (numbers off the top of my head) of the seats.

At Pacific everyone is at one table, hence the 25% winning players take up only 25% of the seats.

It is one of the major factors that the games are so soft there.

their new (relatively) rake structure is rodiculous so I've heard.

Their max-rake is $4 now I believe.
is this correct?
