My problem on the turn was I could easily have the best hand, but there were so many scare cards that could hit on the river. And the turn was already a scare card. Should I have raised the turn? All he needed on the river was an Ace, along with all the other hands that beat me so I gave it up. Bad fold?

his c/c and then bet when the flush card hit did seem dangerous. but I don't want to assume everyone has a flush whenever a third heart shows up. fold turn?

call the river, you're getting great odds

If you call the turn, you should be prepared to call a smallish river bet unless a fourth heart comes, IMO, so I think you should call as played. Folding the turn would be OK.
