Villian is 16/12/5. What's my plan?

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.25/$0.50
6 players
Converter (http://www.neildewhurst.com/hand-converter)

Stack sizes:
Hero: $55.40
UTG+1: $34
CO: $55.25
Button: $43.60
SB: $19.50
BB: $84.25

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG with T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif T/images/graemlins/club.gif
<font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $2</font>, UTG+1 calls, 3 folds, <font color="#cc0000">BB raises to $8.25</font>, Hero?

nasty spot, i hate to lay this down but I think you are probably behind his 3-betting range here, especially since you popped it up UTG.

16/12 isn't 3-betting light here from BB when you raise UTG. Fold.

BB almost always has AK/Overpair in this case, I'd only call for set value, but because you aren't closing the action (and set value is very thin here) I fold this.

Fold it. He's not 3betting an UTG raise and cold call light enough.

My guess:

call AK, QQ
reraise or call AA/KK
