I wasn't aware Louisiana passed a law making it a felony to PLAY poker online. I thought Washington State was the only one.

you should just play and if you get caught tell them you didn't know.

then defend yourself in court by saying that you did not know and there has to be some intent for it to be a crime.

then it'll get dropped or you'll pay a stupid fine.

Should you be scared? No, they havent busted a single player yet, you are unlkely to be the first.

Should you be concerned? Yes, committing a felony level offense carries a lot of serious bad consequences even if you dont go to jail.

It only takes a couple of minutes to do, really. At least go to the PPA website and use their automailer, at http://activate.pokerplayersalliance.org/start.php?rindex=1 . Takes < 5 min.
