My thoughts on this hand:
Pre flop: standard
Flop: standard
Turn: Now I have the full house and I put villian on some sort of draw. I think a bet will scare him away here so I decide to check to get more value when he makes his draw.
River: Villians bet makes me think he has made his draw, so I raise for value. Now comes the point were I got stuck, how much do I raise here? With what kind of raise will I get maximum value over the long run??

On the flop the pot is 3BB so just go ahead and full pot it. This is a fairly dry board so I'm more inclined to bet the turn about $1.25 and try and build a pot. As played the river raise amount looks good.

Gotta bet that turn, a wide range will call.

tms you should be less inclined to bet the turn if the board is dry

Certainly don't have to full pot the flop - between 2/3 and full is pretty inconsequential. Would probably make a half-potish bet on the turn just to keep the money going in. I like the raise size on the river. nh.

yes, betting the turn is a must. If he's on a draw, he'll call you because he'll think you don't have an ace. Also, he he has a better ace he'll definitely call/raise you here. You left some money on the turn, which would really get you paid off on the river.

It looks like the villain had an ace too.
