If this post belongs elsewhere, let me know.

Won a WSOP satellite, but don't feel like I have the time, bankroll, or live experience to justify playing the Main Event.

I'm looking to play in one of the smaller buyin events ($1000 - $2500) for a shot at a bracelet and hopefully the chance to play against or at least see a few big-name pros.

The one that looks the best on the schedule is Event 47, the $2K buyin event starting this Friday. It had over 2000 runners last year.

Anyone play this last year? See many pros there? If you preferred another event instead, please suggest it.

Fwiw, I'm not too concerned with trying to find the softest field - if I wanted to maximize EV I'd save the airfare for my wife and myself and just play online.

I would pick a televised event just in case you do make a final table; the $2k NL you were describing above qualifies. There will be big-name pros regardless of which event you choose. Good luck!
