Villain is running at 39/14 with a flop aggression of 1.29. I have a fairly solid TAG image. Is there a better line to take here?

I wouldn't raise that much PF, I usually raise 40c in this position but I think 50c is also good, but 60c is a bit too big. I find people at these levels rarely call such big raises.

I think flop is played fine.

Thats a HUGE overbet on the turn there, i means its unlikely he rr w/ only a pair of 9 on flop, and its unlikely he had A9 either since he wouldn't want to scare you. K9 is a possibility though. I think you should just fold turn.

Edit: sorry I missed thats its only 6.95 on the turn, I'd still fold though. I'd put AQ and AK in his range though, I really think the only hand you beat here that might do this is AT.

Hey VLV my standard raise size is pot +1BB per limper but I raise extra out of the blinds to charge people for playing me in position.

Do you stack off on the turn here with AQ?

Against a fairly agressive villain I think you can stack off here with good aces like AQ and (maybe) AJ. He maybe trying to push you off your hand by playing it so agressively, and put you on a weaker ace than what you have or even pockets.

I like this line cuz AQ/AK probably 3bets preflop.

I don't like it because of the board. On the turn you're splititng with any ace and boned by sets/2pairs/9x.

If there wasn't a king on board I like it /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

What sets? KK/AA 3bet preflop. 99 for quads are very unlikely, and 99 at least should have 3bet preflop.

9x is possible I guess.

Srry I kinda quickly mentioned sets/2pair as hands that beat us but put Ax, 9x as his most likely with AJ+ as mostlikely Ax.

Any idea of his 3bet range ? -I'm not sure if he does 3bet 99 being that passive as you say he should have 3bet preflop.

I do think this is split Ax 70% time though.
