help with blind defence - bleeding money

Here's a typical scenario for me. Villain is an aggressive button stealer (around 30% attempt to steal) and has a fairly high aggression factor. I'm pretty sure I have decent pot equity against his range here but out of the blinds I play a very conservative fit or fold type game. Is there a different move I could have made here either preflop, on the flop or the turn?

I think your line is fine.
If the villain is REALLY aggressive, and he'll fold to a 3-bet a decent amount of the time, you can re-raise preflop. But except for extreme cases, I think this line works best.

I would play it the same and wait for a better spot to push back.

Against most 30% stealer's at 10nl, I 3bet that hand about 60% of the time....and generally regardless of the flop I pot it.

FWIW I'm doing this with SC's down to 54s,and two gappers down to 86s....I don't let people steal my blinds continuously, plus you get the added benefit that this either

A)tilts the villain if he is bad
B) turns his hand face up when he starts playing back at you
C)lets you play from the blinds fairly cheap

*Edit* Also, I'm a nit about seat selection, so If a particular villain is giving me trouble I generally get up and move. Poker is all about beating up on the fish, not being one yourself.

Worm that's a good idea against 30% stealers I need to start 3betting more preflop and cbetting on the flop.

This is fine, rather then RR 3 betting PF with 22, i'd much rather 3bet 67s. I hate playing a 3bet pot with 22 vs players at 10nl. This line is fine

Dont worry too much about defending your blinds at very low limits. Just play your cards. If the sb limps to you, raise any two. If you raise from the SB and are called, cbet whatever flop then give up. I don't really try any specific aggression from the blinds because I'd much rather steal them from the cutoff than play against an infinite range.
