the same as u did. Allthough u might have missed some value from a pair of 8's so if he really likes to call id bet the turn too.

Yeh i would prolly turn bet depending on the player. However, if he calls my turn bet i would have to set out a blocking bet on the river. That way you extract more value from an 8.

Without reads on villian i'd say this is fine. Since most villians will play TP Aces fairly passively you are giving yourself a chance to get to a cheap showdown. Also, since you are not repping the A by checking the turn vilian may be more likely to call your river blocking bet.

I bet turn aswell. A is a very good bluffcard if he hit the flop. If he hit the A he probaly will reraise you.

Yeah betting the river looks weird here, I'd prefer check/call to induce a bluff. You're beating some PPs but I could easily see villain with QQ or TT here (obv not TT since he flat called the river).
