I dont think so - he is likely to have a 6 in his hand - he line makes sense for a 6. He is betting 10 into a 23$ pot. In my book that screams he wants to be paid off.

I think the decision depends in part on whether or not Villain knows you're isolating him with hands like Q8o /images/graemlins/laugh.gif. I mean, he might think you're FOS and might also not be thinking about how you may not actually pay off his 77 with your XX when he bets. And, meanwhile, he may have interpreted your turn bet as a weak bluff.

Anyway, I guess I would call, getting ~3:1, but I'm not actually happy to be facing this bet. I mean, this Villain doesn't sound like the type to do this with 54 (unless he's fed up with you already), and since you'd think the 54 would need to be suited, that's hardly any combos anyway.

However, if he's been stubbornly holding on with a hand like AK or AJs, he may think there's a good chance he's chopping with you even if you happen to call.
