No reads on villian just sat down at the table.
What's my play here against an unknown?

I might raise the turn here, but id fold the river too i think. U only beat 88 and a pair of 7's. And would also raise the flop more, like 5-6$.

That river card sucks. On a different one, I would probably call.

I'm still kind of tempted to, since I think worse PPs make up a decent chunk of our unknown Villain's range (I mean, on such a raggy flop, he was probably thinking he was best versus your overcards if he has, say, 66, and usually he'd be right). But the river card just gave you lots of additional ways to lose, and to some extent it's discouraging that Villain even bet the river (although it wouldn't shock me if he fired a last barrel with a worse hand).

So I think the fold is fine.
