Villain is 52/3/.5. Bet flop/turn/river 10/28/33; river
AF was 4.6.

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter (http://www.legopoker.com/hh))

SB: $24.45
BB: $26.50
UTG: $11.30
MP: $37.10
CO: $25.30
Hero (BTN): $38.25

Preflop: Hero is dealt J/images/graemlins/heart.gif 9/images/graemlins/club.gif (6 Players)
3 folds, Hero raises to $1.00, SB calls $0.90, BB folds

Flop: ($2.25) 3/images/graemlins/heart.gif 8/images/graemlins/club.gif 6/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1.50, SB calls $1.50

Turn: ($5.25) 2/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero checks

River: ($5.25) K/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 Players)
SB bets $0.50, Hero raises to $5.00

I probably should have fired another barrel on the turn, but I didn't.

So the K falls on the river and I don't want to call or fold to that weak bet, so I do my best big slick impression and raise it up. What do you think ?

Villain's not folding any pair so I dont like it. After flop bet gets called, I shut down and check/fold including to a donk on the river.

I like it. He definitely has a marginal holding and could fold around 50% of the time, which would make it profitable right?
To be honest, I also don't make moves like this much, but I have tried it a coupl of times and I think it works. Seems like the guy is making a defensive bet. If he calls, you can use this to your advantage later as well obviously.

Bet more on flop - Bet turn.
Im quite insecure about the river bet tho. It seems like a strange bet into a rather large pot.

I open-fold J9o preflop with a 52 VPIP in the blinds.

That way I don't have to try to outplay a donkey that calls me with K5s and don't know how to fold.

I would not make this bluff raise unless I had a note on what this bet means...Villain has an aggro factor of .5 and a river AF=4.6..This does not make sense to me...He's a passive calling station then min donks the river???? I will call to see what this line means from villain...With this knowledge you will be able exploit villain in later hands..
