I don't understand, you need to have a read that he's 3-betting really wide to even consider calling down.

but he limp reraised so that is def an indicator of a wide range...
what about postflop...

Limp RR from UTG = Aces 90% of the time

It's not such a shock that he keeps betting. What he's representing is a big PP.

It's a tough hand, because you flopped top pair, and Villain never really made a big bet (relative to the pot size) postflop. But the pot was so bloated preflop that he didn't have to -- he got his stack in with bets that were about 1/2 pot size.

So, well, that flop was either a great or horrible one for you, and I guess you'll find out at showdown. But I wonder if just dumping the JTs to the limp-min-reraise would be better. I know JTs has a lot of potential and you're getting over 2:1, but I'm thinking that readless there's gotta be something better to do than flop top pair and play for stacks even after our hand very likely has become a two-outer on the turn.

I don't know. If we're not folding preflop, maybe we should fold the turn?

Anyway, some sort of read obvoiusly would help. And, readless, I'd like to find some way to avoid playing for stacks here.

yeah lol. this is in doyle's book that he likes to L-R-R aces, so naturally we have millions of donks doing it.

[/ QUOTE ]I'd say he has Aces most of the time and probably still call PF (similar equity to underpair but you can peel more flops to small bets). But this flop is poor texture, we can't really peel a turn card so fold. I wish it was 200bb deep.

If im calling a LRR from UTG with TJs then I'm looking to hit more than just TP. He is going to have an overpair the majority of the time so I would probably either toss it to the minraise or on the flop if I don't hit it harder than just TP. It seems like he is vbetting on every street here.

srsly, what range are you putting him on?

If you were prepared to invest that much on the turn and river then why didn't you just raise the flop? As an earlier dude said, if I call that min raise I'm looking for a different looking flop to that.

Barring a specific read, LRR is generally a monster.

His range crushes yours PF and if you call, you are looking for 2pair/trips or a combo draw.

Also, I probably fold this to the limp rr.
