As long as you are not betting more with your better hands and less with your cbet bluffs on the flop, this is fine. If you bet 3 when you have nothing and 4.50 when you have an A here, you need to either randomize it or just keep it consistent.

Or you can take it down with a cbet. Obviously, if the limper is somebody who constantly floats, you can just check your option, but if it is somebody who folds to most of your cbets, then I go ahead and raise.

I didn't say it was something you do every time, but to have a rule like "don't raise 22 with one limper out of the bb" is silly.

because there are better spots for it, and when he calls us it puts us in a bad spot

i would rarely, if ever bet $4.5 unless i knew villan was an incredibly bad calling station or whatever. most of my c-bets would be about $3-$3.50 here.

anyhoo, i think your play is fine OP.
