I would probably call again and see how much Villain wanted to bet on the river, where I suppose I'd call again so long as the bet wasn't too big.

The thing is, if Villain has AQ or KQ, he probably thinks he's winning and you're chasing overs + a gutshot or something. I mean, your 1/2 pot c-bet on the flop didn't exactly represent big strength or anything.

I'm not saying that smallish flop bet is necessarily bad (although I would have bet more, especially on a dangerous flop like this one), but we do need to take into account the impression it might have made.
