Villain is 85/35/5 over 14 hands. He's been raising or re-raising a lot of bets.

I know I'm getting redicolously good pot odds to call but I mean it just looks like I'm beat. In my experience players with these types of stats don't lead out the betting without a half decent hand. He would have played any 9 like this. Would it be stupid to lay this down?

I know it's only a 14-hand sample, but this guy is looking psychotic.

Anyway, you have to call this. Villain would play a 9 like this, yes. He also could easily be playing 6x like this, 7x like this, 8x like this, XcXc like this, and probably sometimes just plain old XX for good measure.

Raise more preflop. These guys hate folding to preflop raises, and will call big bets even out of position.

Raise pot on flop, he's not folding top pair or a draw.

Get it in on the turn.

I call the river against this type of person, if not just to see if you are good, but if you arent(which he probably has a 9 or a busted draw) you make a note of it and move on and bust him later. These types of players will bet anything down so with the odds on this hand I think you call and move on.

Are you serious? He's 85/35/5, he probably leads out with any 2 cards. Easy river call.
