I'm probably calling this, but this line looks pretty much how a donkey's line to play a flopped monster looks like... Minbet flop to see if you come along and to suck you in. Then slow it down on the turn and then BOOM!!! I have the nuts on the river.
These hands feel like someone as made them up...

I'm seeing tons of posts now and experiencing it myself, where villains are making big river overbets. All I am seeing is the nuts or close to it. It's like an epidemic at these levels now. BTW, it's usually after a check/check on the turn.

I see this often too. I think the reasoning behind these plays is villain slowplayed the hand in order to stack you but when that goes they decide to make a ridiculous overbet to make up for the value they lost on the flop and turn. Sorta can't blame them since so many non 2p2 /images/graemlins/smile.gif players will try to pick off a bluff for their stack with TPTK or something.
