Ok, so the flop check looks pretty retarded, i probably thought i would c/r him all in. I should have bet this flop. Given that, is the turn play standard? i was thinking 'We have to get it in here with our ace because he's so short' is that standard?

Pretty much. Hes desperate so will call w/o odds on any draws that he has there.

sure. It woulda been better to push him around on the flop but this is a fine play. Hes calling with any draw/Jack, which would give you odds to win.
