wtf does 'i don't play for splits' mean? should we be talking about EV and not vague wierd philosophys?

I think this is a call OP. I think villian has a K 80%, worse hand 10% and 7 10%, roughly. He would do this with a 7, a K, or occassionally random pp or A high because micro-donks suck.

I'm gonna stove this somehow in a second, but with those ranges this becomes a call.

I'd call.

Here's how I read it. His bet on the flop was very weak. I put him on a flush draw (blocking bet), so I raised to make him pay to hit it. Well of course the turn brought it, and his check looked strong there probably wanted a c/r, so I checked behind knowing he had the flush. River filled me up, and I wasn't really worried about quads there because I don't think he calls preflop with k7/a7 enough there. I called the river obvioulsy because only two hands beat me quads/aces, and his line didn't indicate either in this situation.

Personally I'd fold this preflop without any reads. Marginal hand, OOP. And if i'm gonna raise it up, i'd make it at least potsize or 4x BB.

Postflop is well played I think. Like Danny implies, you're most likely to split, or be up against a made flush or lower full house. If he has quads? Oh well.

I call this and make a note of villain if he called my flop raise with 7 X OOP. If thats the case and you lose to quads I'm value betting the [censored] outta him in later hands. Call river.

That is so awesome. A few villains this evening have really cheered me up. What's so great about this is that he figured he was outplaying you. I love his flop lead!
