When you called on the flop, what was your plan for the turn and the river? Did you plan a call-down or what? What did you think BTN would do? I find myself often folding this on the flop because I hate playing it oop and no A will fold here, often. So you either raise on the flop or you fold, imo. And if you raise, you don't want to get called...

You didnt provide any reads on SB in this hand.

Anyone reraise preflop to get button out and be headsup with SB?

I think I reraise the flop alot of the time in this hand. As played, I think you have to check the river. If the SB has an actual hand like 1010+, he is not gonna fold to a value bet on river. He has played this as if he is scared you are holding an ace, but I dont think he will fold an overpair if he has one.

SB can raise a variety of hands here, and you can have the best hand.

Thoughts on raising:
1. You can force the button out of the hand, allowing you to close the action on later streets.
2. Your hand will be disguised, and can allow you to win a larger pot post flop, or help make your decisions easier post flop losing the minium.
3. Build a pot when you have position and a solid hand.
4. Reraising hands like these will help generate action on future hands when you reraise.

Become the driver and not the rider in spots like these, and it will help your decisions post flop and put the pressure on the player playing OOP.
