dude, 14 minutes. It's still night in the us and worktime for europeans.

I raise more on the flop. Like 6.5. The turn card is ugly. I think I check behind and call a bet on the river because his betting range will be bigger than his calling range with the A on the board.

Use a hand converter, you'll get more replies.

Personally I'd check behind here, but then again its a good bet given that an A is a scare card. But villain could have been calling w/ AT or A9 or something.

Is getting your money in when only an A will call much better? Because you gave your hand away, you'll have to call a bet on the river, because giving your hand away in the sense that you are showing that you are afraid of the A will induce some people to try to bluff you. But they will try to bluff you with more hands that you beat than they will call a turn push with. Only a straight draw might call without the odds here. No TP or smaller PP will call your turn push here.
