Villain is 37/14.4/1.71/81% folded to c-bet/146 hands. I hate calling flop to fold turn. Seemed right at the time and seems retarded now.

I agree I think call flop fold turn sucks and I do it too much. re-raising flop doesn't seem right. is there anything wrong with calling flop intending to call the turn as well unless it's a scary one?

I think this is a monster. I'm not sure why you called the flop c/r.

DMBFan,

There are a lot of scary cards that could come on the turn and river. BB looks to be committed to this hand. (He seems to fold to cbets a lot and now he is c/r-ing one?). I think he is trying to build a pot. I'm not sure this is a flop to go broke with having a weak overpair.

I'd be interested to know his WTSD/W$SD numbers. I'd bet WTSD is low and W$SD is high.

I see people make these calls on the flop and then fold on the turn all the time. They make very little sense to me. On the flop you should decide if you JJ is the best hand and if you decide it is not then fold. Do not wait until the guy inevitably bets the turn to fold. Are you hoping to spike a jack? Either fold on the flop or commit on the flop by RRing. If he c/rs the flop he will lead on the turn.
