I guess I will give this hand street by street.

I don't know anything about UTG other than his stats (40/25) and his short stack. from this I concluded he was not good.

Button is the reason I am at the table. He is 65/35/5 over a hundred and 30 or so hands, called an all in PF, cold, with Q3o vs AK "for the pot odds" and is really, really willing to stack off with bad hands.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool (http://poker-tools.flopturnriver.com/Hand-Converter.php) from FlopTurnRiver.com (http://www.flopturnriver.com) (Format: 2+2 Forums)

MP ($23.70)
Button ($32.25)
SB ($25.80)
Hero ($26.95)
UTG ($5.40)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q/images/graemlins/club.gif, K/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
UTG raises to $0.75, 1 fold, Button calls $0.75, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.50.

do I fold preflop even against these goons?

If button is really that outrageously bad, then I think calling here is okay, as long as you can tread carefully postflop.

he actually typed in the chat window "sry had to call, pot odds" (not against me)

Then I'd say this is fine, especially since UTG's so shallow.

Flop: ($2.35) 4/images/graemlins/club.gif, 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif, K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (3 players)

what is my plan now? (yes I should have had a vague idea probably, if I want my preflop call to be +EV. sue me /images/graemlins/smile.gif)

check call flop, crai on a non ace turn. you are miles ahead of his range. might be a bit of an overbet...but he will call with crap.

ignore my post...got the preflop raisers mixed up.

I'd just fold it pf. multiway OOP against the shorty as the initial raiser im just mucking. if hes really bad then I dont mind just popping it to $6 pf so hes AI. the problem with this though is when the other fish cold calls it and we're in a crappy spot OOP in a big pot with a fish who doesnt like folding. On the flop I just fire $2, theyre fish no need to even get fancy.

I would try for a c/r. Letting UTG bet is more likely to keep button in than you leading out and possibly getting raised by UTG. If button stays in, you want to be building up a side pot against him, and if he drops, I don't mind getting it in against someone like UTG, with the info we've got.

I think preflop is fine, too, BTW.
