SB is very loose. 88/8/.49.

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter (http://www.legopoker.com/hh))

SB: $19.85
Hero (BB): $27.65
UTG: $8.75
CO: $14.20
BTN: $49.50

Preflop: Hero is dealt 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (5 Players)
2 folds, BTN calls $0.25, SB calls $0.15, Hero checks

Flop: ($0.75) T/images/graemlins/spade.gif J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif Q/images/graemlins/club.gif (3 Players)
<font color="red">SB bets $0.50</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $2.00</font>, BTN calls $2.00, SB folds

Turn: ($5.25) 9/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN checks

River: ($5.25) 6/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $3.25</font>, BTN calls $3.25

Pot Size: $11.75 ($0.55 Rake)

Preflop is a standard check behind.

The flop is great for me; I don't put anyone on AK (At the time I didn't see that K9 beats me too, but oh well) so I raise SB's lead and get a call. Yay.

Turn sucks big time as any K now beats me and any 8 chops. I just check for pot control and to see what BTN does.

After BTN checks behind, I figure my hand is the best and put him on some broadway 2p or an 8 so I put in a small value bet on the river, hoping to get a crying call from a JT type of hand.

Should I have bet the turn? Bet more on the river? Or did I play it just right?

Just right in my opinion. Bet sizes were good! nh

I think this is fine, against this particular opponent.
