I can understand his call on the flop if he has a 7 or any 2 overcard, The turn is the troublesome scenario; What are your takes on this, even if a non flush card comes on the river, should i still raise, cuz yhe only called on the jack card....so.....yeah how would you play?

I think your bet on the turn is a little light, perhaps $1.40 and try to fold him. I'd be done with it if he called and I missed though, wouldn't be suprised if he is slowplaying a big pair with that river bet - could be way off though /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Check behind on the turn; why charge yourself to draw?

If the river is a non-/images/graemlins/spade.gif I'd fold to his bet or check behind if he checked.

You said yourself that he's a calling station. That means:

1. He WON'T fold if you bluff.
2. He WILL pay off if you hit.

Put those together, and the turn's a clear check-behind. Then obviously v-bet any A, K, or spade river if he's a station.
