Whats up all, I've been playing poker for around 2 years, played online poker here and there, but started to get serious in online poker starting the beginning of May 07. My friend gave me $10 at Stars, and started to grind on 1cent/2cent, then 2cent/5cent, and then started taking shots at 5cent/10cent just recently. My bankroll went from $10 to $115 by beginning of June. I was pretty happy with my results. Just within this week though, my bankroll went from $115 to $61. I'm usually good at keeping cool about losing money, since I know that in the long run, I'll keep winning, but I honestly don't know what's wrong with me. Maybe it's because I started reading advices for higher limits on here, or watching videos that are played at higher limits, I don't know. A lot of the money I've lost though, are from bad beats, which frustrates the hell out of me now, since I've lost half my bankroll with them /images/graemlins/frown.gif. I'm thinking about leaving stars and moving to another place.
1) can anyone recommend a good place that accepts US players?
2) I'm looking for someone to be my coach, I'm really serious about poker, I love the game, and would like to improve on it. So if anyone would like to coach me, I'm willing to give half my profits.
3) Here's my last hand i just played. You don't know how irritated I am with the players/cards I get these days. anyway, tell me what you guys think.

Ok first of all can you tell us what bankroll you were playing with at 2NL, 5NL and 10NL. It seems your rolls peak size was $115, which isn't nearly enough for 10nl.

I was taking stabs at it. I know I don't have the bankroll now, so I have to step down, I'm just saying.

Ok cool, but could you be honest and tell us what rolls you were playing with?

Well how much did you have as your bankroll when you moved up to 5nl and up to 10nl.

I was playing 2/5cent at $75 or so. I started taking stabs for 5/10cent when I got $80. (yea, I know I don't have the bankroll). But I thought I was good enough.

Just to give you a guide on what i did:

started with $20 so was majorly underrolled, but played 5nl. Built that to $200, playing 10nl now until 500. 20 buyins is where it's at.

Secondly, answer honestly here, how well do you think you handle tilt?

thanks. I guess I'll take your advice and just stick with 2cent/5cent.

I glanced at your TPTK hand on the link, but really with all due respect when you raise 5x on the flop and the Sb who checked goes AI and then the BB goes AI, do you really think TPTK is still good here?

um, it could be. The more pertainent question is do you wanna chance that it holds against multiple people all in? The problem with this hand is the pf play, with ak you need to iso, not see a flop with more than 1-2 opponents. 3-4xbb is not enough at nl5 to get people out 6-8x or even more is a better play.
