Villain is 24/18 and I almost expected to get 3-bet preflop. I don't think I've been very active at this table at all.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool (http://poker-tools.flopturnriver.com/Hand-Converter.php) from FlopTurnRiver.com (http://www.flopturnriver.com) (Format: 2+2 Forums)

UTG ($188)
MP ($65.05)
Hero ($51.55)
SB ($93.65)
BB ($82.05)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A/images/graemlins/heart.gif, A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
2 folds, Hero raises to $2, 1 fold, BB raises to $5, Hero calls $3.

Flop: ($10.25) T/images/graemlins/spade.gif, J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players)
BB bets $6, Hero...what's my plan for the rest of the hand?

tricky how

[/ QUOTE ]I'm usually very very straight forward, never slowplay and have what I rep...so this is different for me, maybe not tricky. Any thoughts on the hand?

I reraise to $15 preflop, you've let a lot of danger hands play.

i really appreciate all the comments on preflop, but i'm not interested in preflop. We got to the flop how we got there and now we gotta play, so what is the best play.

see if u can shut it down on that flop, those are the worst flops, especially when u get 3 bet.

I would just call and get it all in on the turn.

I think you can take many lines here, as long as you dont fold.

raising is fine. AK will stack off almost always. limiting a 24/18 to purely TT+ is also ludicris. calling and shoving a turn might work.

[/ QUOTE ]This was the plan. The turn, however, was the K of hearts and he led for $10.

[/ QUOTE ] I thought this the hand was over, I'm just not use to such over aggro players at the $25. $25 is just a nit fest where as the $50 is a LAG fest.

This is interesting, I had a hand exactly like this!
I had AA too and when the action got round to me pre-flop there had been an UTG 4x and a 3-bet to 12x. 4-betting basically flips your hole cards over. I was in a particularly tricky (i.e. donk of br) mood this day, and elected to just call :s

Regretted it hugely when the flop came TJKr. Villain c/c flop and check min-raised turn. I folded. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Thoughts? (Sorry for semi-hijacking thread OP!)

Best thoughts of the day...

WITH AA AT 25NL & 50NL - IF PEOPLE WANT TO PLAY WITH YOU PRE-FLOP, JUST PUSH! YOU WILL GET ENOUGH CALLS!
