Hello,

I will probably stay for about half a year in China. Does anyone know if it is allowed to play poker online there?

I wrote some Mails to PokerStars and PartyPoker and asked them. There answers sounds like they don't know if it is allowed but there are no technical problems.

Post if you are able to play. China will be a huge market.

I have played on a few sites where you can put cursor on name it it reads China.....

It is illegal to gamble in china but they don't seem to care about westerners and don't do a good job of blocking sites.

in fact loads of Chinese gamble and loads travel to do it in casinos too. Shoot even the Chinese Communist Party couldn't stop people gambling.
